The Story of US

Struggled to come up with a story of why NaiseClothes was being set up, because I don't have a fancy reason like "I love fashion" or "It's the brainchild of 3 friends" etc.

But I hope this satisfies you:

"I love shopping online! Nothing beats receiving packages of clothes in the mail and the excitement of trying it on to see if it fits me as well as it did on the blogshop models. But such excitement is costly as each clothing bought tend not to fit me and with time, I shop lesser online.

You see, I am a UK size 10, which is a size M in the common sizing lingo.

What's wrong being a size 10? There is nothing wrong being a size 10, as women ages, and gets more curvy, becoming a size 10 seems natural. Especially if you were standing at 1.68m, you still look slim as a size 10. But being a size 10 has its disadvantages shopping online where the models are usually a size 6-8, and free sized clothing fits them to the T.

Apart from sizing, I questioned myself why did I jump onto this wagon where many are already on board, as I scroll through tonnes of other blogshops: Do I love fashion just like many of them do? Is this about retailing and becoming just like one of them?

To be honest, I know little about fashion. Shopping to me, had always been the buying of clothes that I could wear 1 year later and it will still be in fashion. In short, I must be comfortable in the clothing enough to step out of home with confidence.

Thus,  I started NaiseClothes with this intention:

  • to provide like-minded friends with comfortable & affordable clothes that is forever in fashion; and
  • to provide fellow size-10 with a shopping location where you know you'd surely fit into the clothing you bought online!

The bottom line of shopping on Naise Clothes is that,

clothes need not be in fashion as long as it's naise.
